Donald Ray Foster

Donald Ray Amy Foster was born on January, 19, 1951 in Shawnee, OK. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Roy Lee and Lillie Mae Bullion and. the foster son of Mr. & Mrs. Alex and Irma Foster. Donald, whose nickname was "D-Ray" was the fifth oldest of twelve children. Donald Ray gave his life to Christ at an early age at the Bell & Farrell Church of Christ in Shawnee. He attended Shawnee Public Schools and graduated from Shawnee High School. He continued his education at Oklahoma State Institute of Technology in Okmulgee, OK. In the early 70s, he moved to California where he worked as a construction worker. He married Judy Foster and later moved to Phoenix, AZ and Everett, WA. Donald Ray was a person who lived his life as a "free spirit". He was an avid reader and loved to travel. In the late 80s, he traveled abroad to England and Australia. After residing in Everett, WA for 15 years, he moved back home to Shawnee, OK in 2004. He departed this life on April 8, 2009 forsaking the welltraveled roads in this world to travel on the next. He leaves to cherish his memory, "best friend" Velva Louie; five brothers, Inman (Norma) and Ricardo of Shawnee, OK; Ronnie Teresa) and Andrew of Phoenix, AZ, Milton of Everett, WA; six sisters, Mildred, Patricia (Freddie), & Deretress of OKC, OK; Shirley of Shawnee, OK; Othella (Bola) of Port Arthur, TX and Francene (Isaiah) of Monroe, LA; foster siblings, Roy & Gloria Foster; step children, Demetrius Earl and Mack Easely Jr.; an aunt, Rosie Lee Lawrence; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
